Executive Director Position AvailableDue to the 2018 planned retirement of our current Executive Director, Family Service and Children’s Aid (FSCA) located Jackson Michigan, is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and people compassionate individual to fill this lead position. Program and people oversight will include the areas of counseling, substance abuse treatment/education services, adoption, foster care, guardian and conservator services as well as parent education and first time juvenile offenders programs. Skills and experience are required in strategic planning, finance, fundraising, donor development, management of resources, professional licensing and credentialing, and supervision of people. Additional responsibilities include grant writing, building relationships with community partners/foundations and working with staff, board members and volunteers. FSCA is a $3.2 million dollar non-profit organization with 60 employees.

QualificationsEducation: Master of Social Work or related fieldLicense/Credentials: Fully licensed LMSW, LPC or PsychologistExperience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership at a non-profit agency, management of multiple funding sources and programs, supervision of staff, grant writing and other forms of fundraising as well as community leadershipSkills: Excellent communication, public speaking and professional writing skills, fund development, cultural sensitivity and strategic planning.Please send electronic cover letter, resume, references and salary requirements to:Katie Lavery, Board Director Search Committee Chairperson at
